If you’re anything like us, your bag isn’t just a bag. It’s a home away from home. On any given day, my purse triples as an overflowing makeup stash, a receptacle for 8 million receipts, and an impromptu emergency preparedness kit. And I know I’m not alone in this.

Earlier this week, our founder Chris posted a “What’s in My Bag” on TikTok, only proving my point.

So when it comes to picking a bag, sometimes bigger really is better.

My totes are probably my most worn bags, especially in the summer. In the summer, I need to be ready for anything—a quick trip to the beach or to the farmers market or all packed for a productive day of errands. And a good tote, with its never-ending storage capacity, allows me to be practical but also gives me permission to be spontaneous—to stop and pick up a treat or to stash an extra outfit and makeup for later. I’m even guilty of stashing a tote within a tote (pro-tip!) for extra storage space when traveling or for a long day out and about.
